Enrolling in the Prescribing Program for LOTRONEX™ (PPL)

Physician Enrollment

The Prescribing Program for LOTRONEX™ is in place to facilitate patient safety. The program has allowed both patients and physicians to understand the appropriate use of LOTRONEX and its potential risks, as well as adverse events and how to handle them.

Physicians who wish to enroll in the Prescribing Program for LOTRONEX™ are provided an online link to Educational Materials about LOTRONEX, which includes important information about LOTRONEX, and the Physician Enrollment Form. Please review this Educational Material and complete the Physician Enrollment Form. Submit the Physician Enrollment Form according to the instructions on the enrollment screen.

Important: Only physicians may enroll in the Prescribing Program for LOTRONEX™. If you are not a physician, do not complete this enrollment.

EDUCATION:

Prior to enrolling in the Prescribing Program for LOTRONEX™, the physician should read the educational section entitled, LOTRONEX^® (alosetron hydrochloride) Tablets: Understanding the Risks and Benefits (PDF).

In addition, broader IBS education has been provided in the module entitled, Current Thinking About IBS: An Educational Review on Irritable Bowel Syndrome (PDF).
